The tourist facility "all'orologio" is located in the historic centre of Peschiera del Garda Città Turistica e d'Arte, just 100 meters from the Lake Garda. The facility, equipped with air-conditioning ventilation system in all its spaces, provides its guests with a restaurant bar, a pizzeria with firewood oven and large spaces for tourist use. At the fourth floor there is also a beautiful sky terrace, accessed by lift.
"all'orologio" is mainly addressed to international clients with its newly renovated "furnished housing units for tourist use", classified according to the current regional regulation under "winged lions". The housing units are in a building, "under a conservation order", of refined architecture. Due to its location in the historic centre there aren't enough parking for the clients compared to the number of accommodations. Many available free public parking and easily affordable carparks nearby located may compensate for that.
The facility building faces on the central square San Marco, with a view on the emerald waters of the river Mincio and a few meters from the Lake Garda (of which Mincio is the main effluent), which may be seen with its mountain crown from the sky terrace too.
It is located in an historical context, which is under a conservation order, its facade is embellished by friezes and it is located next to the historical building of the Venetian Superintendent dominated by a big clock whose bellows are still indicated by the beak of two huge winged predatory birds.
It is situated within the historical perimeter of the Military Stronghold, in which there are also Roman stratifications, Venetian, Napoleonic and Austrian fortifications surrounding the entire area and which constitutes one of the main landscapes and cultural assets of this territory. The Venetian Works of Defence between the 16th and 17th Centuries, which are part of the historical artistic heritage of the historic centre and of the stronghold of the Municipality of Peschiera del Garda, have been listed on the UNESCO List of World Heritage. Great part of the walls has been designed by Sanmicheli.
